Reservoir Management Studio is a cloud solution for reservoir data analysis, dynamic modeling, and production operations. The solution serves geologists, geophysicists, petrophysicists, petroleum engineers, production engineers, facility engineers, asset managers, and other reservoir engineers.

  • Created complex simulations and models for a wide range of reservoir types.
  • Researched and analyzed historical data (well files and field meter data) to understand previous work and operational decisions.
  • Communicated results in user-friendly reports.
  • Maintained accurate static and dynamic reservoir models through continuous collaboration with geophysicists, geologists, and petrophysicists.

    Stakeholder Alignment (10 Interviews)

    We held workshops with Solution Owners, Product Owners, Business Consultants, and Developers.

    This step was crucial for quickly defining the project's foundation: the overall business context, current pain points, and the vision for the desired Reservoir Management System (RMS) experience.

    User Deep Dive (7 Interviews)

    Following the workshops, we met with internal and external users to validate and refine our initial findings.

    This helped us clarify complex processes, define the key product sections and features, and understand the essential gains and pains to support the product's overall vision.

    Market Positioning (2 Analyses)

    - We conducted a focused competitor analysis to ensure a strong market strategy. This work provided the evidence needed to:

    - Assess our position and define market gaps.

    - Identify competitor strengths/weaknesses and our product advantages.

    - Back up key design changes and solve usability issues early.
